He discovered early on the potential of electron tubes and highly efficient professional audio drives mounted in high-strength aluminum enclosures. And the technical foundation for ART DÉCO ACOUSTICS was created: a focus on the absolute minimum number of essential components, all of the highest quality.

Gerd wanted this simplicity and efficiency to be reflected in the system’s look as well. This is why he began looking for a design to support the speakers and amplifiers and help it achieve the best possible playback. He found what he was looking for in the Art Deco era: Timeless forms, classy materials and sensual elegance create the perfect framework for extraordinary sound.

MONITOR
Almost spherical.
For perfect sound.
The monitor loudspeakers can be individually positioned to enable the audio system to create outstanding immersive sound without the interference of resonances. This results in a linear frequency response that is reflected in an exceptionally transparent sound quality.
Spatial resolution at its best
The playback frequency of the monitor ranges from 500 Hz to 22 kHz.
Phase and angle correction
By means of the integrated enclosure design, the midrange driver and high-frequency tweeter form a virtually perfect point source.
No secondary acoustic emissions
thanks to the edgeless, high-strength milled aluminum loudspeaker enclosure.
M24 Monitor Loudspeaker
For an interference-free playback of 500 Hz in the transition zone, the enclosure emission axes of both the monitor and the bass are at the same height despite being in separate enclosures.

BASS
Strong bass. Spacious
and transparent depths.
The sleek enclosure of the bass loudspeakers is adjusted both optically and acoustically to the monitors. The bass loudspeakers develop a powerful and transparent bass response. The woofers excel with a high degree of linearity over nearly five octaves. Distracting resonances have been consigned to history through exquisite attention to design detail.
Base for immersive sound
The bass suppresses vertical resonances by means of the enclosure design.
No secondary acoustic emissions
thanks to the edgeless, high-strength enclosure. Integration of the woofer and bass-reflex openings in an edgeless front panel with all-round braced plastic rear panel.
B24 Bass Loudspeaker
Since the bass and the monitor are kept separate per channel, they can be set up in an ideal way in any room. This makes for incredible spaciousness and transparency.

LOUDSPEAKERS

Playback in unison. Optimized phase response.
The bass is in half space, separated at 500 Hz with the monitor in full space. This allows both loudspeakers to be positioned freely in relation to the wall.

Passive crossovers
with third-order filters and impedance linearization. High-quality film capacitors and shielded inductors of premium design. Signal latency significantly below Blauert and Laws criterion with smooth course.

and ultra-fast power limit circuitry of the loudspeaker to prevent overload damage.
AMPLIFIER
Clear structure.
Intense power.
The heart of the audio system is a stereo push-pull amplifier. Six electron tubes, symmetrically arranged, unfold their full potential. The result is a maximum level of linearity and fidelity with an open, transparent sound. Hissing and ambient noise are a thing of the past.
Inaudible ambient noise
Thanks to the use of electron tubes in an optimized symmetrical arrangement and a separate external power supply unit, maximum interference suppression is achieved.
Edgeless milled enclosure
The side walls have dished vertical grooves to disperse secondary acoustic reflections.
E25 Integrated Amplifier
Headphones can be plugged directly into the amplifier parallel to the loudspeaker outputs. The amplifier constantly self-checks for wear and sends an alert when changes become necessary.

AMPLIFIER
Electron tubes

Fully symmetrical design
with triode preamp and ultra-linear pentode power stage. There are only 11 components per channel in the signal path and low local negative feedback in the preamp and power stage.
Fine attenuator
in the preamp.
Digital control
Supervision, control and remote control with microprocessors, separated and shielded from the audio component. Adjustment of the quiescent currents of the electron tubes and constant checking for short circuits with the option of shutdown in the event of a fault.
Elegant protection
of the electron tubes by means of removable, anti-reflective borosilicate glass tubes and additional protection with automatic shutoff when a tube is removed. This makes it easy and safe to change the electron tubes.
Galvanic isolation
of audio paths with input and output transformers.
External power supply
for worldwide use with supervision of primary voltage, current and frequency as well as internal voltages and currents.

All enclosure parts are manufactured with the utmost care and precision in Baden-Württemberg, where they are assembled and tested by hand at Audio Manufaktur Köck.

All devices are completely maintenance-free. The amplifier's electron tubes can be changed without a tool.
Recyclable
All materials used for the enclosure design are made from high-quality recyclable materials such as aluminum, stainless steel and cast polyurethane plastic.
Electronics
All electronic components are subject to continuous quality control and comply with the RoHS directive.
Cabling
Flame-retardant non-halogen cables are used in the individual devices and for connecting them with one another. Should they catch fire, no toxic gases are released.
Loudspeakers
Safety fuses are installed at the front of each loudspeaker signal input to protect the speakers from overload.
Guaranteed Quality
Consistent research and development, as well as the manufacturing process, result in exceptionally high quality. Each individual device has a long service life and a consistently outstanding sound experience – including a 10-year warranty.
